We’d like to introduce you to the newest Ignite team member and a familiar face on the NEO craft beer scene – Wally Weiss!
We’re so excited that Wally just joined our team as a weekend brewer, so look for him in the back brewing up your taproom favorites.
Wally has been in the beer industry for 15+ years, but recently accepted a role as a Fermentation Specialist for a local biotech company that grows microorganisms for various applications to help reduce the world’s need for chemicals and reduce greenhouse gases in the oil and agriculture industry. (Pretty cool job!) But he was missing brewing and we needed some extra brewing, so the stars were aligned and it’s a win-win!
When he’s not busy saving the planet or brewing delicious Ignite beer, you can find Wally spending time with family, hitting-up local breweries and riding his bike on the Towpath Trail – but most of the time doing yard work. He’s also Katy Perry’s biggest fan! For anyone who hasn’t tried Ignite yet, Wally says: “You’ve got nothing to lose, except the chance of meeting some really great people that make some really great beer.”
