In the Ignite taproom, it is our goal to support and feature other local businesses as much as possible. This month, we are excited to be working with the Winery at Wolf Creek for a special wine tasting event!

The Winery at Wolf Creek is located in Norton next to the Barberton Reservoir. They offer a wide selection of wines made on premise, a tasting room, and a variety of events and activities depending on the season.

We are excited for them to be joining us in the taproom on Monday, February 6th from 6-9 PM for a wine tasting night. We will be offering a flight of four wines for $13. Check out the wines being offered below and mark your calendars for a fun night!

White Lies
Foxy, mysterious, and fun. A perennial Wolf Creek favorite, White Lies is made from fully ripe American Delaware grapes. Originating from the primeval forests of the New World, this ancient variety always produces a wine with intensely aromatic and is distinctly American. Serve chilled. White Lies is fun and fruity sweet white wine made with our very own Wolf Creek Delaware variety.

Redemption
Our sweet and seductive red is best when served with sinful chocolate or a fresh loaf of communion bread. Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature. Whether you’re an absolute angel or the spawn of the devil, we all need a little Redemption now and then. Light, sweet red made from a blend of French hybrid grapes.

Chardonnay
2019 Washington Unoaked Chardonnay. Aged in stainless steel at Wolf Creek. This medium bodied dry white is light on mouth feel and big in flavor. Big citrus and apple notes, great to pair with grilled fish and fresh vegetables.

Blue
About when Violet was turning violet and being rolled away to the de-juicing room, we had an idea…how about blueberry wine? This is no exotic chewing gum; made from ripe blueberries, it’s sure to remind everyone of summer, even on a cold winter’s day. Semi-dry blueberry wine with a hint of tartness. Ohio Blueberry Wine. Served chilled.
