We love having the opportunity to give back to the community by supporting other local businesses. Whether it is food, craft sodas, wine, brewing ingredients or merchandise, we try our best to support other local companies in our taproom whenever we can. This month, we are excited to feature a sweet local company that has Akron buzzing, our friends at Akron Honey.
About Akron Honey
Akron honey was founded in West Akron in 2014 and has been producing unique, high quality urban honey ever since. They started in two vacant city lots and built their urban honey bee apiaries where they raise their honeybees, and harvest only their surplus honey in small batches – a true “hive to jar” experience.
Akron Honey is committed to producing high quality honey, all while lifting others and encouraging you, and everyone, to “Just BEE Yourself.” They aren’t just known for harvesting some pretty awesome honey, but they also educate youth in Akron & Cleveland on how to #savethebees.
