On Friday, August 26th from 4:30-7:00 PM, we will be hosting Change for Change, a night of fundraising for the Ben Curtis Family Foundation to help to raise funds to help fight food insecurity in our community.

Change for Change is an event sponsored by The City of Barberton and Mayor William B. Judge. Each month this fundraiser is held on behalf of a local non-profit and is designed to raise awareness for the group and collect donations for their cause. The Ben Curtis Family Foundation will be providing Birdie Bags for Barberton City School Students.

The Ben Curtis Family Foundation began in Kent, Ohio in 2013 when Ben and Candace Curtis viewed an eye-opening documentary about hunger and food insecurity in the United States. The Curtis family decided to help by delivering a solution where the children would be – in school. They partnered with a local elementary school to develop the Birdie Bag Program. A Birdie Bag contains non-perishable foods and a toiletry kit. Children in need are able to take them home weekly throughout the school year to help fight food insecurity.

Join us to help support this great organization and important cause! 11% of all beer sales during the event will be donated to the Ben Curtis Family Foundation.
