“Go into the world and do well. But more importantly, go into the world and do good.” by Minor Myers Jr.
Here at Ignite, we have been busy working on Making Beer Make a Difference. In the past couple of months we have participated with many local fundraisers and community projects to continue helping people around us make a difference. In the beginning of the year, we helped raise money and supplies for a city-wide food drive. We were also honored to be part of Resilience IPA with Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, where we joined thousands of other breweries in the USA in raising money to help with the California fires.
We have a busy summer planned that will help us continue to push out on our mission! A few fun MBMAD events planned include:
- Pints, Poses & Profanities on June 1 – a stress-relieving beer & yoga session! $10 from EVERY ticket sold will be donated to the Arthritis Foundation, in honor of the Moonwalkers team. Learn more and get tickets here at our Pints, Poses & Profanities Eventbrite page!
- Towpath Century Ride on June 8 – we have a team of 8 cyclists that will be raising $8,000+ & participating in the Towpath Century ride….where they will all ride all 101 miles of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath in ONE DAY!
- And on June 15….our next event that we’re SUPER excited about….Ales & Tails! A little more on that…
One thing that our team is super passionate about is our furry family members. We believe animals come into our lives and change us for the better. We are extremely excited to announce our “Ales & Tails” Pet Adoption Event in partnership with the Humane Society of Summit County. The Humane Society will be bringing their adoption van to our patio!!!! Dogs and cats will be here with the hope of many of them finding forever homes! We will also have a local favorite food truck Erie Depot, and will be honoring a special pup with a special beer release – a brand new Vanilla Porter!
We hope to see everyone on Saturday, June 15 from 5-7 pm for an event that will help better the lives of our furry friends. And keep up to date with the latest and greatest news about this event on our Facebook page!
Cheers!
