As you heard on Sunday, March 15th from Governor Mike DeWine, all bars and restaurants in Ohio will be closing until further notice. Our team at Ignite Brewing Company fully supports and agrees with this decision by the State of Ohio, as the long-term health and wellness of our greater community is of utmost importance.
While our taproom will remain closed during this time period, Carry Out & To-Go orders are permitted under the Governor’s orders. With this, we are adding additional Ignite To-Go options so that you can more easily enjoy Ignite in the comfort of your own home. This includes:
- Drive up and stay in your car options for all To-Go sales
- Taking To-Go orders via phone
- Offering a free Ignite growler with all growler fill purchases (note – no external growlers will be filled until further notice)
- Continuing to offer sixtel and keg purchases to the general public
- Taking credit card payments verbally to limit contact
- Continuing to offer merchandise and gift certificates for sale
Now more than ever, we have an opportunity live our mission of Making Beer Make a Difference™. From now until our taproom reopens, we will be donating 11% of all “To-Go” sales (crowlers, growlers, and private sixtel and kegs) to support Akron-Canton Food Bank and Barberton Community Foundation’s Emergency Response Pass-Through Fund. Our team’s goal is to help address food insecurity in our communities during this difficult time.
The Ignite team is committed and concerned about your safety, the safety of our team, and the safety of the community. We will continue to work to mitigate the spread of this virus and make you feel comfortable while you are enjoying Ignite beer. We will continue to remain diligent yet flexible, and make adjustments based on guidance provide by the WHO, CDC, public health officials, and Federal, State, and Local governments. Together, we can make a positive difference in our communities.
