First off, I’d like to say thank you to all the fans that took the time to weigh in on their favorite Ignite beer!  It is always fun to get feedback and find out what you are enjoying most in our taproom.  View the full results of the Facebook poll

Sitting here listening to the wind whistle through the frigid air as I drink a hot cup of coffee, I’m excited to see that Ignite Your Day was at the top of the list.  It’s very cool that our coffee stout featuring cold press from Kave, the local coffee shop a few doors down, has received a warm reception.  It was one of the very first beers we registered as a brewery and has been on tap pretty consistently ever since.

I loved seeing that Lost On Denali was one of the favorites, too!  This has been my favorite IPA ever since we stumbled upon, what was at the time, an experimental hop variety while we were still home brewing in our garage.  The Denali hop also known as X06277 brings great pineapple and bright citrus notes and packs a great aroma in my opinion.

The Cherry Blonde makes me smile every time I enjoy one, because it conjures up for me great memories of running a 200+ mile race with great friends through northern Michigan.  (Sometime when you are in the taproom, ask me about the insanity that is the Ragnar Relay Series!)  The very first batch we ever made at home with the Montmorency Cherries had me hooked for sure.  We have continued to experiment and tweak the recipe until it has become the beer it is today. And we still are so stoked that it won Silver at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival in the American Style Fruit Beer category!

Despite the weather continuing to bear down on us, I hope the taproom will provide for some great snow globe-like views of the street lights along Tuscarawas Ave over the coming weeks. As we look toward the upcoming weekend, I hope all of you find yourselves with good friends and family enjoying a great craft beer. Stay warm, and see you soon!

Cheers!
Jason
